Hebridean Celtic Festival 2013

The North Lewis Blog can confirm that this year's HebCeltFest is now well and truly underway and excitement is fast building up, as the big names prepare to make their mark - and they don't come much bigger than the legendary Van Morrison, who will be headlining in the main arena this evening. Weatherwise, the good news is that the somewhat mixed package we had for the last few days has cleared up considerably and the sun is out. What's more, the forecast is good for the duration of the event. Lewis is completely awash with festival-goers and it is virtually impossible to find accommodation at this late stage. Cabuzana Bed and Breakfast, in common with all other bed and breakfast establishments, guest houses and hotels are having to turn away hordes of disappointed visitors. One desperate family of four, whom we couldn't accommodate at Cabuzana Bed and Breakfast, was over the moon when we were able to arrange accommodation for them in South Harris. They were so thankful to find beds that the hour-plus drive after the Van Morrison concert was of no significance to them. We at Cabuzana Bed and Breakfast North Lewis Blog are pleased to have been able to help even one desperate family.
