Well, all good things come to an end! After three rain-free months, yesterday dawned very wet and, worse still, blowing a gale. So, all of a sudden we are having a dose of the bad weather that the rest of the UK has been stuck with all summer. To make matters worse, the weather map appears to have been reversed and the south of England is, for the first time this year, boasting about good weather - it appears that the course of the jet stream has reverted to the normal for this time of year. Oh well, some you win, some you lose but we have definitely been the lucky ones overall. This morning is dry and, although there is a stiff breeze, the wind is considerably down on yesterday and it is forecast that it will continue to drop as the day goes on. The forecast for the next two days is quite good, so holidaymakers, don't despair!
